Hello, I’m Nicole, a high school teacher based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. On September 15, 2023, I underwent gastric bypass surgery. The journey through pre-op and post-op diets was challenging, but the results have been overwhelmingly positive. I now experience a newfound freedom with food, and the significant weight loss has greatly enhanced both my physical and mental health. For the first time, I feel like I’m truly living rather than merely existing.
